Super soft and cuddly, but not as picturedNov 15, 2006

This is a super soft Elmo, the fabric that is made of is soooo nice against the skin and it's the perfect size for a little boy or girl to hold and drag around from the arm or legs. The body of the Elmo pictured is not the actual toy we received. The one I got is actually a "skinny" Elmo with long arms and legs. The eyes are made of hard plastic and the nose is covered in an orange felt like fabric. Elmo's bottom has an actual bean bag inside so it can sit easier, but it's difficult and he topples over, maybe with use he'll be more flexible. The toy came inside a shoe size box. Elmo was wrapped in white tissue paper, his legs were wrapped with a small piece of tissue paper as well and some tape. The eyes and nose were tightly covered with tissue paper also to avoid scratching and has the tags attached to it. I would recommend this to any Elmo lover/collector as it's a really nice size and of excellent quality.

This Elmo is wonderful, is does nothing, no singing, no dancing, no tickling and it is my grandson's favorite Elmo. He can hold it and snuggle with it and nap with it without fear of injury from hard internal parts. This is the way a child's cuddle toy needs to be made. Great construction, no fear of parts coming off and becoming choking hazards. I recommend this toy to all true Elmo fans.

I bought this for my daughter's 14 month birthday. She immediately loved Cookie and Elmo (I bought the matching pair).
They were softer and more beautiful than I expected and they have proven more durable than I'd hoped. She feeds them every time she eats but by some miracle they still look great.
When they arrived, they were packed in polka dotted tissue paper and the eyes were carefully wrapped. It was fun to open such a treasure! These are definitely my daughter's favorite stuffed animals and she'll have them for years!

My son loves his new plush Elmo. It arrived quickly, and like all Gund products, is well-made. Finally, a soft, huggable Elmo for bed time!

I bought this for my son for his 2nd birthday and here it is a year later and it still looks like new. Elmo has been washed in the washer machine (on gentle), played with outside and slept with (plus more) and has held up beautifully.
