Very disappointed!Jun 15, 2010 I recently purchased a Shermag glider, and I was really disappointed with the quality. The moving parts were all painted over, and I hoped this was a one time mess up and ordered another, and then another. When the chair "glides" it makes crackling noises as the paint chips off. After three Shermag gliders with the same problems I think we have serious manufacturing problems. Hubby and I have spent HOURS trying to scrape the paint off the metal parts, but unfortunately we cannot get to the paint out of the small crevices. I hope that with time the sounds will get less because my contact with Shermag has not yielded any response yet. In addition, one of the three chairs had a broken chair back. I would not buy this again.

Comfortable but not the best manufacturingDec 11, 2008 This chair is pretty comfortable to sit in and not too difficult to put together. However, within a year of use, two of the springs had popped out. I used crazy glue to secure them back in, but one of them keeps popping out anyway.

don't buy this chair!!!!Dec 29, 2006 It looks pretty in the picture but when my husband went to set it up all of the holes were so close together......the arms curve in and I can't even sit in the chair! we are having to drill new holes to adjust the problem. Its a pretty chair but the seat could only fit a toddler (and I don't know any pregnant or nursing mothers with that waist line).
