Not worth the price.Jul 28, 2010
By L. White I bought this toy for my son for his sixth birthday. He loves it but for the money it costs I was a little disappointed. It is not very fast, thank goodness it came with training wheels because I don't know how a kid would be able to ride it without, it just doesn't go fast enough. He has had it for a little over a week and the stickers are already peeling off. If he didn't love it so much I would send it back. It cost too much to just be ok.

Great motorcycle, great cust support from Peg PeregoJun 18, 2008

This is an awesome little motorcycle!!! Mom may be a little frightened at first because on the 2nd speed it moves pretty quick and the front wheel jumps off the ground when the throttle is turned. Be cautious of having bigger kids ride this bike because someone rode ours that was too big and cracked the front fork. However, I called Peg Perego and they shipped a new front fork out immediately and for no charge. Their customer support is outstanding!! Overall a great toy and my three year old loves it!!

Super cool and great funMay 19, 2011
By oznyc My 2.5 year old son loves motorcycles (daddy rides). Since he was 1 he wants to sit on every motorcycle he sees. For his first b-day he recieved an age apropriate eletric ATV that he quickly outgrew. After searching quite a bit for something a bit more real for him that he could grow with I chose the Peg Perego. The greatis feature is the 2 speeds. The slow is walking speed, safe but fun enough. The high is about as fast as jogging. In high spped my son loves to pop wheelies and cruise.
Pros:
Looks great, realistic and cool.
Runs great.
2 speeds (you can lock the high speed so the child can not change on his own.
Drove around for over 2 hr on one charge.
Rubber wheels
Cons
No place for controlling adult to grab.
Speeds are either Low or High no in between and you can not ride slowly on high.
On high even with the training wheels turns are a bit difficult and you can tip over relatively easily (took my son about 2 weeks to figure it out)
All in all My son loves it though he is allready doing stunts and has decent control in high he has a lot more to grow into and it is fast enough to ride without the training wheels once he is able.

Looks good from 10 feetSep 04, 2009

Looks good from 10 feet away. Detailed enough that you think it is a real Ducati Monster. Very appealing for younger age groups for which it is intended. Had to be asembled, which took about an hour, perhaps a bit longer. Everything was plastic, and did not feel as if it will endure repeated rides. Over all it looked good, and my daughter was thrilled with it, so that is what counts.

GREAT BUY! Our 5 yr old son loves it!!!Jan 04, 2011
By riverkl We purchased the motorcycle as one of our 5 yr olds Christmas gifts from Santa and he was super excited (so were we) when he saw it by the Christmas tree. CHRISTmas morning. Our excited turned to joy when we saw how much fun he was having on the motorcycle, its a great thing it comes with training wheels that he can attach and detach when ready because he is only 5. Its visually pleasing to the eye, it runs great, it makes our son feel like he is on a real motorcycle. It has 2 speeds, a horn, lights, engine souunds and so forth. Great buy and I would totally rec. it to friends and family!
