 Beautiful...except for the gashesJan 19, 2007

I love this line of furniture, it's a beautiful color and pretty sturdy. However, it did come with a gash and a few scratches. My husband put it together in a few hours and we didn't think it was worth it to take apart and send back. We figure it will eventually be further damaged by the children.

 Needs assembly and design defectOct 03, 2008

Only the drawer sides are solid wood; the rest is painted/veneered chipboard. The product needs assembly - straightforward but takes time. The design and parts do not provide for a horizontal spacer bar at the rear of the dresser in the middle section. In the dresser I received, the two side sections bowed in slightly at the center and the four center drawers would not slide all the way back. I cut a piece of wood to length and wedged it at the rear of the middle section and that cured the problem. The dresser looks nice, is reasonably sturdy, and my daughter has not complained.

For the price of the furniture from this company, we are satisfied with all of our son's items. (7 drawer dresser, crib) This item came improperly packaged, however. We tried 3 times, and the top (the only solid part other than drawer fronts) was gashed in the same place in all of the orders. Too bad!

We initially purchased another dresser by this company and tried putting it together twice. It was awful! We then decided to try this one out of frustration! this one couldnt be better! It went together easily and works great! Much taller than we expected but perfect for our nursery!

We chose this dresser for our daughters' room. Needed something with alot of room for both their clothes and that didn't take up too much floor space (and looked nice). Although it functions great in those regards, the dress itself is not very sturdy, we often have to "twist" it to get the drawer fronts to line up evenly. And then the drawer fronts keep falling off! After numerous attempts to get them on tight, we will now be glueing them...we'll see if that works. We also fear that it could easily tip over, the top is solid wood. (Recommend an anti-tip device for it.) Overall, wish I would not have bought something so tall. Girls can't reach the top drawers anyhow...
